The Renault Mégane Sedan is a saloon version of the current generation Megane unveiled in July 2016. It will be marketed in several African, Asian and European markets, but not in France, under Sedan and GrandCoupé brands. In some countries, it replaced the Renault Fluence model, also offered with a sedan body. The Renault Megane Sedan based on regular Megane platform, called Common Module Family (CMF). The 508-litre boot of a Sedan equipped with an automatic opening feature, activating by waggle of a foot. Inside there are available the same choice of gadgets as in hatchback or estate, including digital dash panel, infotainment system with an 8.7-inch touchscreen, auto-brake safety system, etc. Depending on the market, it could be powered by the three diesel and two petrol engines with up to 130 hp output. The engines could be mated to a 5-speed and 6-speed manual gearbox, 6-speed dual-clutch EDC or CVT transmissions.
