2017 Nissan Rogue (X-Trail) is an updated version of 2013 model which went on sale in October 2016. The new Rogue received restyled head optics and taillights, slightly updated front grille and bumpers, chrome accents on the doors and new colours. Inside, there is an updated centre console and a new design for the steering wheel with a flat bottom. Besides new options, there are a remote start, heated steering wheel, the driver’s seat with memory settings. The safety features now include a lane departure warning and a departure prevention systems, forward collision prevention feature, and adaptive cruise control.
The 2017 Rogue powered by the same 2.5-litre 170 hp engine paired with a Xtronic CVT transmission that used on the previous model. It is still available with a front-wheel drive as standard and an all-wheel drive as an option.
For the 2017 model year, Nissan also announced a limited available hybrid version of this crossover. It uses a 2.0 Liter 4-cylinder 141 hp petrol engine, which works with a Xtronic CVT paired with a 40 hp electric motor. The Nissan Rogue Hybrid available only with a five-seats body due to the Lithium-Ion batteries placed in the cargo storage area.
