The 2017 Mazda CX-5 received refreshed exterior and interior styling, while keeps without notable changes its platform. It wears the latest revision of KODO design language, including the massive grille, and body lines that connect the new streamlined headlights, front fenders and doors. Inside, there is a slightly updated and refined cabin, featuring an HUD-display and new 4.6-inch colour screen for the infotainment system and satnav. For the rear passengers there also available reclining function, seat heaters, and HVAC vents in the rear part of the centre console.
The CX-5 is available with two engines: the Skyactiv 2.5-liter petrol unit (184 hp) and the Skyactiv-D 2.2-liter diesel engine (173 hp), mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, front-wheel or four-wheel drive. There is also integrated G-Vectoring Control system, which improves steering response when cornering.
