The Lada is a marque of the Russian vehicle manufacturer AvtoVAZ founded in 1966 and headquartered in Tolyatti, Samarskaya Oblast. The AvtoVAZ company controlled by a Renault-Nissan Group. It produces passenger cars, including subcompact and compact sedans, hatchbacks and wagons, compact crossovers and off-road vehicles, MPV and LCV on two major facilities in Tolyatti and Izhevsk, Udmurtia, Russia. The Lada Granta and Lada Kalina models also marketed as Datsun mi-do and on-do in Russia, Belarus, Kazakstan and some other countries. There is also joint-venture between Lada and General Motors which produces all-wheel drive crossover VAZ-2123 under Chevrolet Niva brand.
