The 2017 Jeep Compass debuted at the LA International Auto Show in November 2016. In the Jeep lineup, it replaced both the first generation Compass and related crossover Patriot. The exterior design of the 2017 Compass close to a Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Cherokee styling, while interior borrowed from the latter model.
The new Compass could be equipped with a UConnect 8.4N touch-screen infotainment system which works with a 506-watt Beats Premium Audio System, a rear-view camera and all-around parking sensors, Blind Spot Information and Forward Collision Warning systems. There are also available Command-View panoramic sunroof, LED-headlights and 18-inch aluminium alloy wheels.
The 2017 Jeep Compass based on the FCA Small Wide platform, available in a 2WD and 4WD configurations, with a three engines: 2.0-litre or 2,4-litre 4-cylinder petrol units, and 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel power plant.
