The 2017 Honda CR-V built on a new Civic platform, has a slightly updated design, more spacious body with a slimmed down A-pillars and lengthened wheelbase. For an interior, there are used better materials to enhance the premium feeling. In the middle of the front panel fitted 7-inch touch-screen display of infotainment system with a classic volume knob. This system supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay technologies, optionally available with a Gramin satellite navigation. In the U.S. the new Honda CR-V could be powered by a new 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with a 190 hp output or by a 2.4-liter atmosphere 4-cylinder engine (184 hp). Both engines work only with a CVT transmission, which mates with front-wheel or four-wheel drive. For European markets, it will likely be available with same engines and a 1.6-liter diesel unit, that will be aggregated with a 6-speed manual or classic automatic transmissions.
