The Datsun on-Do is a subcompact sedan, originally introduced by Nissan only for the Russian market. After local premier on April 4, 2014, it is gone into serial production on July 14, 2014.
The Datsun on-Do manufactured on local factories by AutoVAZ, which is part of Renault-Nissan Alliance, and based on Lada`s own model - Granta. The on-Do has its own design for the front and rear lights, bumpers, quarter-panels, front grille, hood and trunk covers. The body is a 77 mm longer and there also is slightly different interior.
The on-Do powered by a 1.6-litre 87 hp (65 kW; 88 PS) 4-cilinder engine which works with a 5-speed manual transmission. It has a front-wheel drive and suspension adapted for local road conditions.
