Chevrolet is one of the divisions of the American vehicle manufacturer General Motors (GM). It was founded by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant on November 3, 1911, and become part of the in May 1918. The Chevrolet was picked as the leader in the wide General Motors brands family and become the best-selling car in the U.S. by 1929. The Chevrolet cars are sold worldwide under its own brand, except the Australia and Oceania where it has local Holden marque.
